The Beach Taverna
Naxos · sunset · a developer who wanted the beach · Difficulty: Rookie 2 · 6×6
Sunset on Naxos, and the family taverna on the bay was packed: grilled octopus, cold ouzo, bouzouki from the radio. All week Vasilis, a developer from Athens, had been pushing the family to sell him their strip of beach for a new hotel, and he would not take no for an answer. When the sun touched the sea, a scream cut through the music: Vasilis had been found dead.
Rules
- Every row and every column holds exactly one person. As soon as you place someone, cross out their whole row and column.
- “Beside” = directly left, right, above or below, and in the same area. Squares with objects (the oven, the sink, the counter, the barrel, the tables, the amphora, the parasol and the net rack) cannot be occupied; the stool, the chairs and the sun loungers can.
- The murderer was alone with the victim: nobody else was in that area.
Statements
